We had just bought some very nice area rugs for our house (we have all hardwood) but they were in such bad shape with dirt and animal orders that we thought it was really a waste of time and money to have them cleaned. Our carpet was overdue for a cleaning. It is much improved compared to what it was. The high traffic areas still look grey but I was told that it was due to fiber damage.
